About the Teacher Aide
I am originally from a suburb of Chicago where I am the oldest of three. My parents and sister reside in my hometown, and my brother is a senior at the University of Dayton, Ohio. 6 years ago I fell in love with Marquette University and the city of Milwaukee! During my time at Marquette, I studied elementary education and history. I was lucky enough to find a job here at Catholic East after graduation last year and I have been here ever since! I have aspirations of becoming a Youth Services Librarian and am in the process of choosing a school for my masters.
My role at Catholic East is ever changing! I love that I have seen all aspects of the school and have gotten to know the kids both in the classroom and afterschool setting. Catholic East is such a special school full of culture and diversity- and I am excited to take on the 5th grade! It is such a developmetal year on so many levels and I am eager to get our class ready for middle school and beyond.
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, and exploring our cool city. My dream job would be to work at the Library of Congress, my favorite food is anything served at Thanksgiving, and my favorite color is shamrock green. Any other questions just ask!
