8th Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Ms. Hannah Morin. I am happy to be the 8th Grade homeroom teacher, as well as your child’s Math teacher! This will be my fifth year teaching middle school Math. Most recently, I taught on the north side of Milwaukee. I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I graduated from Marquette University, where I studied Social Welfare and Justice. After college, I worked with individuals with disabilities in an employment-training program at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. It was through that job that I found my passion for teaching. I am really excited about joining the Catholic East Community!
I am so eager to work with and learn from every student in this class. My mission as a teacher is to work alongside students to motivate, empower, encourage, and support them by cultivating a safe, compassionate, immersive, and respectful environment. My hope is that, through this learning experience, it will also foster each student socially, emotionally, and cognitively, so they can continue to build a foundation of discovering their own passions and interests that contribute to their own life-long learning.
I am excited about getting to know you! If you ever have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please feel free to reach out to me via email or phone throughout the year. Thank you for welcoming me into this community. I am looking forward to the year ahead, full of learning and growing with one another!
