Hi, my name is Ellie Rashke. Teaching kindergarten is a dream come true for me. This is my third year at Catholic East, where I previously worked with 3rd and 4th grade. I am very excited about being with the K5 scholars this year!
Prior to teaching, I spent time as a research assistant, formative evaluation intern, and educational technology analyst. I hold a B.S. in Biology (emphasis in neurobiology) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Mind, Brain, and Education. I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Teaching at Cardinal Stritch University. I am driven by the belief that all students can be successful when given the right care and support.
I grew up in a small town in Minnesota where my parents co-run a family childcare and preschool program out of their home. I have always loved being around kids! I live in Milwaukee with my husband, Quinn, and our dog, Winnie. In my free time, you can find me reading or walking with Winnie along the Milwaukee River!
