5th Grade Educational Assistant
My name is Mrs. Carolyn Ferda. It may seem familiar to some as I have had several roles at Catholic East over the years. When I was a student at Marquette, I had a reading placement in the fifth grade classroom. Highly impressed with Catholic East, I started working at Kids Campus and in various other roles. The following year, I became the second grade teacher for five years, and then moved to first grade for one year. I am excited to say I am back at Catholic East in my new role of Educational Assistant.
In September 2019, my husband, Nathan, and I welcomed our son, Enzo, into the world. Becoming a parent has been one of the most rewarding experiences! I’ve spent the last year relishing my time at home watching our son grow. I love spending time outdoors biking, swimming, and taking neighborhood walks. I am an avid Brewers fan and love nothing more than catching an impromptu game at Miller Park.
I am so delighted to be back in the classroom. Education is truly my passion, and I am excited to work with the students, parents, and staff of Catholic East once again!
