Hello! Your scholars have been woking hard to finish New Year's Resolutions based on what gifts of the Holy Spirit they will bring to themselves, their class, their school. Most of the scholars are done and they are beautifully reflective.We will publish them in three main ways: out in the hallway, in the classroom and ones that will come straight home. We have discussed how writing is powerful when it comes from the heart; and that sometimes the written word is so special that only a few chosen people will be meant to have it shared with them. A rubric will be sent home on the back of it.
Pie graphs and estimating have been our main focus this week in math.Both have proven to be challenging for many of our members. We will continue to balance a review of these skills with moving forward in the curriculum.
We studied John Glenn as a wonderful steward; our note taking bullet point style is coming along nicely! The scholars are getting the gist of it! How exciting!
